My Story
I am Cat, thank you so much for visiting my website.
I'm a dedicated yoga teacher with a deep passion for guiding others on their journey to wellness and self-discovery. I started my yoga journey whilst I was working in acute and emergency medicine within the NHS. Here, I realised how important holistic wellbeing is. I decided to change my path after 10 years in the NHS and my learning began in the serene and spiritual city of Rishikesh, the Yoga Capital of the World, where I trained under the guidance of esteemed gurus and immersed myself in the ancient teachings of yoga. Rishikesh, with its sacred Ganga and vibrant ashram culture, profoundly shaped my understanding and practice of yoga. I was deeply inspired to honour the full scope of yoga beyond just the physical postures. I bring this rich, authentic experience to every class, blending traditional techniques with modern approaches to create a holistic and inclusive practice.


At Kula Spirit Yoga, community is everything. I believe yoga is for every body - all backgrounds, all levels, all stories. My aim is to foster a welcoming and safe space where you can move freely, connect deeply, and grow both on and off the mat. Here, strangers become friends and practice becomes purpose.
My teaching style is a mindful blend of traditional practices and accessible guidance. I focus on breath, alignment, and inner awareness while weaving in the deeper philosophies of yoga. Whether you're stepping onto the mat for the first time or deepening an existing practice, my classes are designed to be inclusive, non-judgmental, and deeply supportive.
You belong just as you are. This is a space where diversity is celebrated, voices are heard, and each person is met with kindness and respect. You don’t need to be flexible or spiritual, this is your time for showing up for yourself. Here, we move, breathe, and grow together as a kula (community), creating meaningful connections both on and off the mat. Come as you are, and know there’s a place for you here.
